Welcome to Home on Cameron. Our name comes from our retail store on Cameron Street in Old Town Alexandria, VA. The store was a great mix of new, antique, and custom pieces. It reflected our beliefs that a home can be functional, comfortable, and beautiful at the same time. In April 2020, the building housing the store was sold.
We now focus full-time on client projects. Our projects vary in scope and style. This all of course depends on the client’s goals. We are working on new builds, kitchen and bath renovations in homes and condos, as well as decoration and restyling. It is important to us that each project reflect the client. We work hard
to reflect their history, needs, and future uses of the space.
With more than 20 years in the interior design industry, Todd has been able to work in different aspects of the design industry. While attending design school at the University of Maryland, he worked for a commercial architectural firm. He owned a decorative-painting company. This work refined his knowledge and use of color. Todd was an owner of a wholesale showroom, AmericanEye in the Washington Design Center. This became an opportunity to work with the best interior designers in the area. It was a time to refine and define his design knowledge.
Todd was listed as one of the Washington Post’s Designers Under Forty to Watch, has appeared on HGTV, and his work has been featured in the Washington Post / Washington Post Magazine, Elle Décor, Architectural Digest, and Home & Design.
